I just put Billie Piper's "Because We Want To" music video on my iPod for the sole reason of learning the dance. I have visions of me and koto_heartilly christening our apartment (when we get it) with a bottle of wine and doing the dance to this song.

Plus I know she'll learn it with me :D

This was supposed to be done the day of the s2 premiere, but I was going frantic trying to download it all day that I forgot, lol. I love this show, this cast, and just everything about it that I had to make a mix for it. The mix was put together Sunday night, and it's meant to be a fun, happy, upbeat mix. These are just songs that make me think of SJA when they shuffle :D

This fanmix has been wanting to get made for so long. But for some reason my iPod kept deleting it, or since I don't name my playlists on said iPod, I probably deleted it. I finally sat down yesterday though, and was able to get it finished. Thank God.

I, DAVROS
a mix for the great destroyer

When I think of a fanmix for Davros and for the Daleks, I feel that people use heavy metal and loud rock songs. Well, I'm not about that. I don't like heavy metal. So I wanted to make a mix of unique songs that I had on my iPod, that were songs that I enjoy listening to. And I love Davros, absolutely adore him. Think he's such a great Doctor Who villain. I first saw him in Genesis of the Daleks back in April, and wow. I was blown away by Michael Wisher's performance. Since then, I have seen all of the Davros episodes, but nothing compares to the performances given by Michael Wisher and Julian Bleach. They're the inspiration for this <3

I'm Andrea and as of September 6, 2009, I am years old. I'm currently located just outside of Boston, Massachusetts. I took a year off of going to college to live with my parents in Tennessee. Last September, I started college, and three weeks into it, I decided it wasn't right for me to attend at this time. It just wasn't working out. I was a performance major with a concentration in music. As of now, I'm unemployed and not in school. I live with my cousin and her three cats and two dogs. I spend most of my time applying for jobs, watching TV, and working on my music.

Music is absolutely my passion. Anything creative is. I sing, I draw, I play piano, I write, I take photographs, I paint, I used to dance. My creativity means everything to me. The world inspires me to create beautiful music. I'm not much of a composer, I'm more of an arranger and a lyricist. I love playing songs on the piano and tweaking them to fit my vocal styles. I'm not a fan of singing with a thumping bass or a loud percussion in the background. I'm a fan of acoustic styles, and grand pianos.

I'm a friendly person, and I would say that I'm easy to get along with :) But I hate things like people who take themselves too seriously, racism, discrimination, not recycling, and various things about fandom. I am a Democrat and my thoughts learn towards the liberal side of things, but I am always open to different views.

As for fandoms, I love Doctor Who (new and classic, though right now I'm partial to classic) and it's various spin-offs, Pushing Daisies, Harry Potter, Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy games (IV, VI, VII, X, and X-2), Secret Diary of a Call Girl, and I've got a huge list of shows to watch, so you never know what else. I ship like crazy, and I will never get involved with a ship-war, 'cause, seriously? It's fandom. And I don't take it as a diehard serious thing. It's fun.

I'm prone to random bits of boy-crushing and girl-crushing.

I only friends-locked my journal because I don't like the thought of random people reading it, since I do talk about my personal life a bit. Just so you know, I post about things like fandom, real life, my family, friends, or anything that's on my mind. Doctor Who and random thoughts about my life occupy the major portion of my posts.

A Birthday Present A Month Too Late

So, it was whirligigged's birthday about a month ago, and being the awesome friend that I am, I still haven't given her a present. We can ignore that she's already given me mine and my birthday is in September. Soooo, for the first part of your present darling, I made you a fanmix :D This is what happens when I stay up watching Classic Who ALL NIGHT instead of going to bed. But this is just the free part of your present, there'll be something else ~~when I can find it~~. I also blame this on riverdresses, who put me in a Harry mood that just wouldn't go away.
